Working of Dessicant / Heatless Dryers
The Robust Air desiccant dryer operates with precision to remove moisture from compressed air effectively. This process involves two towers filled with high-quality desiccant material, such as activated alumina or silica gel.
During the drying cycle, moist compressed air enters one tower while the other undergoes regeneration. The desiccant material in the active tower adsorbs the moisture, ensuring dry air is discharged for various applications.
Simultaneously, the tower in regeneration mode depressurizes to expel accumulated moisture from the desiccant material. This purge air, carrying away moisture, is vented from the system.
After a designated interval, the towers switch roles to maintain continuous dry air production. This robust cycle guarantees a reliable supply of moisture-free air for critical applications.
